If you are looking for a place to have fun and be silly in Pigeon Forge, then you must stop by the Hollywood Wax Museum! My family and I were so excited for this part of our trip, and we were not disappointed! As you can see from the photo above, we were met by King Kong right when we walked into the door! And if you are wondering what those bright things are in his mouth, those are my daughters 2 favorite bears that pretty much go everywhere with us haha!
The Hollywood Wax Museum is the only wax museum in the country devoted entirely to celebrity figures, and has 2 full floors of them!
Here are some of our Favorite “Stars” we met at the Hollywood Wax Museum:
You gotta love being able to pose with Antonio Banderas right! I was amazed at how life-like these wax figures were! I also loved how Hollywood Wax Museum added fun sets that were different for every character!
A little Leo anyone? Getting to act out this famous scene was super fun! All the other guests were just as excited as me to be “kings of the world!”
Of course we had to stop by and hang out with Captain Jack Sparrow! Another thing I loved about the Hollywood Wax Museum was that you actually got to interact with the figures, you could pose with them however you wanted. (All they ask is that you try not to touch the figures)
Being in Pigeon Forge, of course we had to stop by and see Dolly! She is one of the reasons the area is so popular, and she is do darn cute!
After visiting the 2 full floors of wax figures, our tour was over and we got a chance to look around at some of the fun themed items they had for sale in the gift shop! We picked up the great picture of our family with King Kong, and my daughter also found the perfect gift for my husband:
She picked out the “Worlds Best Dad” trophy! Which we all agreed was a perfect present for him! We had a great time spending the afternoon at the Hollywood Wax Museum and would highly recommend it for anyone that is visiting the area!
