I was invited to a Blogger event at Castaway Bay at the beginning of February and I jumped at the chance to escape the horrendous cold winter of Michigan and head to an Island Resort with warm temperatures inside and tons of fun. It was while watching my 10 year old daughter play in the wave pool that I remembered taking her into the wave pool for the first time when she was only 3 years old. I started to tear up and then pulled myself together because I didn’t want people thinking I had lost it. That is when it hit me,not only had we been escaping the cold we had created a lifetime of family memories. So I urge you to check out all the fun you can have at Castaway Bay Indoor WaterPark Resort and get ready to have fun and build your own family memories.
Fun Family Memories Activities
Castaway Bay is home to Snoopy and his friends. From the time you Check-In till the time you say good night, they could show up at anytime. No matter how old my kids get they can’t wait to get pictures with Snoopy and his friends. My daughter and Lucy enjoyed posing for my husband.
If you can tear the kids away from the awesome Waterpark (to be discussed a little further down) you can enjoy some fun at Club Castaway. Here you can find free activities including coloring, crafts, games and more.
Make sure their dancing shoes are packed because they will want to hit the floor with the Peanuts gang at the Dance Party. They might even surprise you by singing their favorite tune during Karaoke.
They will be ready to drift off to sleep after watching a Family Movie Story Time with Snoopy. He will show up in his pajamas,so make sure they are sleep ready so you can just slip them into bed.
These are all the great extras that you can enjoy at a Castaway Bay Resort vacation but let’s not forget the fun in the Caribbean themed WaterPark. There is something for everyone from the littlest to the oldest. If you are playing in the Lookout Lagoon Family Funhouse, make sure you are ready for the giant bucket to drench you from head to toe. I always enjoy watching the kids (and adults) run under the bucket to be splashed when the bell tolls.
