Detroit Princess Riverboat
Detroit Princess Riverboat
I recently received 2 tickets to the Motown Dinner Cruise in exchange for my review. However, all opinions are 100% my own.
The Detroit Princess Riverboat calls the Detroit River its home since June 18th, 2005. It originally operated as a gambling boat for several years before it was salvaged and restored. It services as many as 1800 passengers on its party cruises. The Detroit Princess Riverboat hosts private and public functions daily aboard the riverboat. Attendees aboard the Detroit Princess Riverboat are not only treated to fabulous entertainment and delicious food but also beautiful views.
Detroit Princess Riverboat

The Detroit Princess Riverboat can host private events of all sizes any day of the week. Pricing for the events vary based on size, length of the event, entertainment, and menu selection. The meal during the Motown Dinner Cruise consists of a buffet meal with main entrees of Carved Prime Rib, Chicken Picata, Crab Stuffed Salmon and Vegetarian Lasagna along with sides of Twice Baked Potatoes, Cheese Tortellini with Pesto Cream Sauce, Wild Rice, Steamed Vegetables, Assorted Salads, Dinner Rolls and Dessert.
The highlight of the night was exploring the decks of the Detroit Princess Riverboat and taking in the views along the Detroit River. You can see both the Detroit and Canadian sides and as the sun started to set the views only got more breathtaking. It was also a wonderful evening to spend time talking and enjoying conversation with fellow passengers and diners aboard the boat. We can’t wait to go back in the fall as the views change with the season.
