Amazing Places to Eat in Indiana
Does Indiana Have Good Food
I guess it was something I wondered since I am a foodie. That means I like meals that I do not have time to cook. I like flavors that make you want to lick your fingers and steal your neighbors when they aren’t looking. I love food that is fresh, seasoned correctly, and unique.
I was asked to attend the restaurants below in most cases my meals were paid for or a portion was covered but trust me. I always tell the truth.

Lafayette-
We ate several breakfast meals at our hostess, Teresa at the best Bed and Breakfast in Lafayette at Black Blanket Farms. If you are from out of town I would consider staying at the Black Blanket Farms it was a wonderful experience at the farm to table breakfasts was a crowd pleaser.
East End Grill 1016 Main St, Lafayette, IN 47901
Just say yes to everything on the menu. The food was incredible and plentiful. We highly suggest the shrimp and grits and the ribs. You can come casual but come hungry. You will leave full and happy.
Bruno’s 12 Brown St, West Lafayette, IN 47906
This must be the local joint for good times and pizza. It was fine but the pizza wasn’t special enough that I would go again. The kids were happy with their meals and the restaurant has a lot of sports memorabilia for you to look at while dining. I would give them another try and I would order something other than Hawaiin pizza.
Triple XXX Family Restaurant 2 N Salisbury St, West Lafayette, IN 47906- Can you say burgers that will make you salivate at their site? Do you like root beer? If you do this is the place for you. I fell in love with my peanut butter burger! The root beer was so good we brought some home to Virginia. I had to hide it from the kids in the car so my husband could enjoy it! This family-friendly joint offers nostalgia and a darn good burger!
Sweet Revolution Bake Shop 109 N 5th Street, Lafayette, IN. Yes, to everything on the menu. If you like savory or sweet they have the pie for you. Gluten-free no problem, have one of the best brownies on the planet. The Sweet Revolution Bake Shop will keep you spinning in delight.
While you are eating or in between consider visiting other places in Lafayette. You can see what they had my family doing in the best guide to visiting Lafayette Indiana.

South Bend
Tapasterie 103 W Colfax Ave, South Bend, IN 46601 This unique dining experience wasn’t ready for 6 kids but they took us on anyway. The food was tapas style and they had several Mediterranean options. I felt like I was back in Greece again. I will say our children enjoyed it and there was plenty of food and a variety of options.
If you know me you know I love chocolate. Well, South Bend chocolate was incredible we found the outlet so I bought a ton. The salted caramels were so incredible I hid mine from the children and I am not sorry at all!
We actually had dinner while enjoying a baseball game. We had hot dogs and cheesesteaks. They were reasonably priced for a sporting event and they added to the fun of the night. I would make sure you take in a game if you are in South Bend, Indiana.
Rail Epicurean Market dinner 211 Park Street Westfield, IN 46074. The food was good home cooking with a twist. They paired normal food with a something that I wouldn’t have thought of. I had a watermelon gazpacho and it was incredible. Then we had a meat and cheese plate from the local community. I loved that everything was locally sourced you could tell since eat bite was flavorful. This is the perfect date night venue with the outdoor seating.
21 North Eatery & Cellar, 21 N Jefferson St, Martinsville, IN 46151 a locally-owned restaurant with a chef-inspired menu, full bar with daily specials. This place knows how to cook locally sourced food in a way that makes you wish you could eat out every day. The chicken sandwich I had was so fresh I looked for feathers. The flavors were well balanced and the vegetables must have been harvested while we were there. It is a lovely place to bring your family.

Dinner at Jockamo Upper Crust Pizza, 401 Market Plaza, Greenwood. Jockamo has been named Best Pizza in Indiana by Thrillist. I love pizza. I have eaten pizza all over the world. I can say I understand why Jockamo is ranked high in the pizza creations. I had one of the best pizzas that I have ever eaten. I loved the balsamic drizzle on my cheese and artichoke pizza. It was incredible. I mean it was so good I took the leftovers all the way home to Virginia.
Dessert at Mrs. Curl Ice Cream Shop, 259 S. Meridian St., Greenwood. Mrs. Curl has been named Best Soft Serve Ice Cream in Indiana by Buzzfeed. The line was long and worth it. The soft serve ice cream filled in every crevis with happiness. I had a sundae and I highly suggest you order it for the other 6 days as well.
The Willard, 99 N. Main St., Franklin. The Willard has won the Tenderloin Throwdown, is a Top 3 Tenderloin in the state and is Best Tenderloin in Festival Country. They also have burgers, pizza, wings, sandwiches, and salads. I tried the tenderloin sandwich it needed some sauce or flavor. The burgers and wings were great I stole some from my kids when they weren’t looking. I just couldn’t resist.
We would also like to suggest these festival country restaurants that locals love
