Ripley’s Believe It or Not Odditorium

If you are looking for something fun and interesting to do while you are in Gatlinburg then you have to check out the Ripley’s Believe It or Not Odditorium! Ripley’s Believe It or Not! has been proudly freaking out families for over 90 years, and over spring break we got to be one of those families! The great thing about the Ripley’s Believe it Or Not Odditorium is that no matter what age you are, it’ still interesting and fun!! My 5 year old had a great time, as did my husband, Mother-in-Law, and I! 

The Ripley’s Believe it or Not Odditorium had all kinds of different exhibits, rooms, and themes! It’s 3 stories tall, and has over 500 different artifacts from around the world! One word of caution for those with little ones, there is a part of the exhibit called “The Graveyard” that was kind of scary. My 5 year old and Mother-In-law decided to skip that part of the odditorium while my husband and I explored it.

My daughters favorite part of the trip was the interactive room that had games, fun mirrors, and a dance room! It was nice to be able to sit down and watch her burn some energy and enjoy herself with the other kids. (I think all the parents liked the break ha!)

Yep, that us just hanging out in this HUGE chair ha! There are tons of great photo opps all throughout the attraction, and they will make for some great family memories!

Of course we couldn’t leave without rubbing Buddha’s belly! Fun fact, this Buddha is made from over 1 Million dollars that the government threw away!  Crazy right!?
