This facility has been a cultural and architectural centerpiece in the Pittsburgh area since 1893.Over the past decade they have received numerous awards for their green building initiatives and sustainability efforts.

We recently had the opportunity to tour their facility. It honestly is breathtaking. Not only do they have a beautiful greenhouse and butterfly garden, but they also provided several fun kids’ activities. The day we visited they had kids’ crafts and fresh fruit samples for children. It was a fun family attraction to see in the Pittsburgh area.

I absolutely loved their butterfly garden. You are able to walk through and experience these beautiful insects and many of them just land on your arms.
