Frogglez!

I’m sure you have heard the phrase soccer mom. Well, I am not a soccer mom, but I am a swim mom.  We love being a swim family. We hope that through swimming our children will find a way to stay healthy throughout their entire lives. Swimming is something they can do to get exercise no matter where they travel.

No matter which sport your children participate in and you soccer moms can back me up here, children can be picky about their equipment, and gear. My kids have to have their swim shorts tied just right, they have to have their swim cap on just right, and of course they have to have their favorite pair of goggles that fit just right. The goggles happen to be the critical piece of equipment for a swimmer. Through the years we have tried too many types of goggles to even count. When my children find goggles they love I tend to spend a little more money on them and buy extra pairs.  I get it and for swimming competitions I will tolerate the demand for good quality goggles and also the adjusting of the straps and the fidgeting to get them situated just right. However when we go on vacation, the last thing I want to do is adjust goggles straps 50 times or what feels like 50 times anyway. Straps break or goggles leak or they fog up. All of which increases my stress when on vacation instead of getting a chance to just relax.

When I first saw Frogglez I thought to myself whoa, those look like really comfortable goggles. So I intentionally left the favored pairs of goggles at home when we went to the Great Wolf Lodge Water Park recently. I can honestly say that I did not have to mess with fixing goggles not even once. They stayed on and the kids never complained through all the water slides and swimming. Ahhh wonderful! The picky swimmers said they were so comfortable and worked so well that they would wear them for swim meets! Win – Win!
