Traveling with the Kia Sorento

Traveling with the Kia Sorento

I was provided with a Kia Sorento to drive for a week to facilitate my review, however, all opinions are 100% my own.

Kia Sorrento

Summer means travel and this past June, I headed to Hershey, PA for iRetreat 2014.  I was excited to be able to bring my family with me and Kia provided me with the 2015 Kia Sorento to take us from Detroit,MI to Hershey, PA. I was excited to have a bigger vehicle for the drive as we have a 2014 Kia Soul Plus (we recently took the Soul Exclaim for a spin and loved it just as much.) The plus side to the Kia Sorento is the 3rd row seating which we would need since there would be 5 of us traveling and everyone needs ample space to ensure peace and quiet while traveling.

Driving in the Kia Sorento was a unique and interesting experience and thankfully my daughter is still small enough to fit in the 3rd row seating. On the way home we had a little more than we came with so things were a little tight but we stuffed every inch of the Sorento with our finds from Pennsylvania.  I do think if we were to travel with it again, I would sit 3 people in the 2nd row and lay the 3rd row flat and use it for all storage so that way the 1st and 2nd rows would not have to have anything stored there.
