Travel and Adventure Show
Every family dreams of a perfect vacation. Vacation planning is the hard part. The questions are plentiful. Where to go and how much to spend are just the tip of the iceberg. Luckily, the Travel and Adventure Show can guide families to their next memorable vacation spot.
The Travel and Adventure Show stopped in Chicago January 11 and 12. The aisles of the Donald Stephens Convention Center were full of domestic and international vacation ideas.
“Last year’s show produced a record turn-out and we are planning on topping it in this 10th year in Chicago. We have over 250 exhibitors with experts to help you plan your next dream vacation – destinations you may have never considered,” said John Golicz, CEO of Unicomm, which produces the event in six cities nationally. “As the country’s largest series of travel shows, this is a must-see travel extravaganza.”
Visitors to the Travel and Adventure Show could browse the many travel agents, vacation planners and travel guides. Some exhibitors offered on-site travel discounts. For example, SeaWorld offers bonus tickets with purchase. Other exhibitors offered new travel options. The Atlantic City Tourism Board shared the new non-stop flight service from Chicago to Atlantic City.
The Travel and Adventure Show is great way for kids to learn about travel and culture. Many of the international exhibitors share information about their culture. From learning about animals on African safari to local customs in South America, the Travel and Adventure Show can spark an interest in the world culture.
With all the exhibitors, some families can get a little overwhelmed with all the information and promotions. I would suggest a going to the Travel and Adventure Show with a primary purpose. For example, your family wants to visit Florida. Start visiting the domestic travel aisles first and gather all your information and pamphlets. After you have obtained that particular information, use the rest of the time to explore and dream big.
It is time to get off the couch, out of the backyard and explore the world around us. Check out the Travel and Adventure Show for your next family vacation.
The Travel and Adventure Show will exhibit throughout the United States during the remainder of the year. For a complete list of dates and tickets, please visit the company’s website below.
