Living Treasures Wild Animal Park
Disclosure: I was provided complimentary passes to explore Living Treasure Wild Animal Park. All experiences and encounters shared below are all mine!
So you may have been to a few zoos in your day. I know I have. Almost to the point of thinking “if you’ve seen one you’ve seen them all”. Hold the phone! Living Treasures Wild Animal Park is not a zoo! It is an amazing experience that brings you so close to animals that you can reach out and touch them. Well most of them, the lions and tigers are not close enough to touch but close enough to stand and be mesmerized by their size and beauty. Although this guy sure looks like he would love a belly rub!
I don’t know of any where else in the world where you can interact with so many creatures. It was amazing. Seriously where can you kiss a giraffe,
snuggle with a baby kangaroo,
ride a camel,
and feed this guy!
Not only were the animals amazing but the entire park was phenomenal. I have never been to a zoo or animal park or any place that cares for creatures where the animals seemed so happy and so well cared for. This park was so clean. All day ling if you could actually tear your gaze away from the animals for a second you might catch a glimpse of a park employee sweeping or cleaning or caring for the creatures. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable.
Living Treasures Wild Animal Park is also very affordable. It is sometimes hard to visit amazing places like this with a large family. You can get all the details on their website but just so you get a quick idea here are the ticket prices on the day of our visit:
Adults 12 and Over: $13.99
Children 3-11: $10.99
Seniors 62 and Over: $11.99
Children 2 and Under: FREE!
Did I mention they have a playground in the middle of the park? When your little ones want to take a break from feeding the animals they can slide and climb. Mommy and Daddy can also rest up a bit on the benches in the playground area. Make sure you pack a lunch! Living Treasures Wild Animal Park has a lovely shaded picnic area. You will want to spend the whole day enjoying the animals. There is a gift shop and you can buy drinks and snack but no restaurant. The gift shop is also very affordable. They kids each came home with a little something and I still had some cash in my wallet. My family will definitely be going back to visit all the creatures at the Living Treasures Wild Animal Park. I hope you and your family will get a chance to visit them. Which animal would you like to interact with the most?
