Couples Trip – Punta Cana Honeymoon

Our couples trip to Punta Cana. It feels like yesterday that my husband and I went on our honeymoon to Punta Cana. With all of the changes in our lives and having kids we have not had another opportunity to go on a couples trip.

Our honeymoon was honestly amazing! From the time we got there until the time we left we were in paradise. We stayed at an all-inclusive resort which was breathtaking! Since it was our honeymoon they provided us with romantic dinner’s for two and couple’s massages complimentary of the resort.

Flying into Punta Cana was a different experience in itself because when you landed they wheeled a set of steps over to the airplane and you walked right outside onto the tarmac. The best part about this was they had a little local band playing for us once we arrived. We both loved their indoor/outdoor airport. It was nothing like our Pittsburgh airport.

When we first arrived at our resort we were greeted with a fresh, hot towel. I honestly did not know what to do with it. I felt silly when they handed it to me, but it was nice to be pampered. As we checked into our resort we were given fresh pina-coladas to sip on while they took our bags to our room.

There aren’t words to explain the beautiful beach and pools around our resort. It was very secluded and private. I am so thankful that we had the opportunity to take a couples trip to Punta Cana. We enjoyed so many fun activities as well.
