I recently had the chance to spend a few days in Chicago with several of my blogging best friends. We were there for a blogging conference but we managed to squeeze in time for some fun before the conference started. Sea Dog Nay Pier invited us and 70 of our blogging buddies for a beautiful Fireworks Cruise.
Sea Dog in Chicago leaves right from Navy Pier and has more than one boat available. We were greeted by the crew and were quickly under way once everyone was seated on board. Jake was our tour guide and provided us with information during the cruise about the different sites we were seeing along the Chicago Shoreline.
After cruising the water we settled in spot just in time for the Fireworks to begin. Fireworks shows are featured at Navy Pier on Wednesday and Saturday from Memorial Day to Labor Day. While you can see them from the land, the view from the water is magnificent and takes your breathe away. The cruise with Sea Dog Navy pier is amazing.
The pictures cannot do justice for how beautiful and serene it was out on the water enjoying the fireworks. I am looking forward to future visits in Chicago so I can try out the other cruises that Sea Dog Navy Pier offers. I have listed the types below.
